Santa Card

Copic markers, Spellbinders and an Ebosser Chevron folder help to make up this card. The flower was a made by friend Mazie at a crop.  It was a leftover so I took it and decided to use it on a card. Mazie also had the Santa stamp, I colored it with my Copics and Wink of Stella markers.

Wreath Card

Ebosser folder, Swirltangle and the Martha Stewart Branch punch for the wreath. I used the brush technique on the card base and, of course added some bling.  I just could not get a good picture of the card, this one does not do it justice.

More Christmas Cards

I copped the idea for these cards straight off of Pinterest. I love how they turned out.

10 minute Christmas Cards with the Ebosser

I used my Ebosser to make these super quick Christmas cards. Not too fancy but they get the message across. The folders are 8.5 x 11, the cards are 5 x 7.

The folder used here is called Divine Damask:

This folder is Holiday Holly.  It embosses the outside and the inside all at once!

Bee-Happy Birthday Card

I made this card for my friend that has gone through a lot this past few weeks. Our birthdays are a few days apart and we usually due lunch, but due to unforeseen circumstances we won't be able to do it this year, so I wanted to cheer her up.

This is my first time using an action wobble ( ya, I know I'm behind the time!  lol).   I also tried my hand with the braiding card method.

I normally don't do the little cutesy critter cards but I'm starting to really like them.

Sympathy Card with inked and embossed Glitter Paper

I saw this inking technique on a facebook group that I am in and I couldn't wait to try it. It's actually easier than using the spray mists and waiting on them to dry.  I'll show you what I did.

The glitter paper is from the DCWV Holiday Glitzy stack.
The embossing folder is the Anna Griffin Poppy folder.
I picked out 4 different ink colors that I thought would compliment each other. I stamp the ink on my craft sheet, then took a stencil brush  and swirled it around in the ink.  You do not need to add any water, then brushed it across the glitter paper.  I didn't know whether or not it would take, but it did!

Once I had it all colored I tied a ribbon around it and made a rosette with my Tombow glue

The labels are Spellbinder dies and I used the same technique on them. I also used my Wink of Stella brush marker to accent the edges of the labels  (close up shot)

Thank you card

First let me get this laugh out!!!! Bahahahahaha!!! Ahem....okay.

My mother in law asked me to make a thank you card for someone whom had made her a delicious red velvet cake, just because.  I didn't have much time to make it (a few hours really) so this is what I came up with.  I'm laughing because it was so simple yet appropriate that it is funny (to me anyway). I left the inside blank so my MIL could write a personal sentiment.

I just wanted to share:

Sometimes the best things in life are just plain simple!!!

Darcie Heater Designs Stamps and Tin Pins

I bought this set of stamps and tin pins at a local craft store. The owner had several cards made up and on display. I had to have them, especially since she gave me a 20% discount!!!

I not really a cutesy animal type person but these stamps are just too darn cute!

I'm thinking I need to purchase a button maker so I can make more tin pins. Well I can dream about owning one anyway!  lol

Here's my first attempt:
The tin pin fits right over the face of the cute little animal (oh gosh darn now you can see my Copic boo-boos!)

Here's the set I used for this card. I have another set that I will post at a later date. The one pin missing is on the cute little skunk above.

Wedding Card

I saw some wedding cards on Pinterest  similar to this one. I needed one for my cousin's wedding this weekend, so I decided to give it a try. The wedding colors were plum, grey and burnt orange so I tried to match it.
