Charger Plates

Here's a few more Charger Plates that I was asked to make for some grand kids of a friend. I had a hard time coming up with one for the little boy who plays both football and baseball. (You know I'm not good with stuff I can't bling out, lol) I'm liking the way this one turned out.

The next one is for the grand daughter that is on the flag team. There were not very many flag team images on Google, so I found one I kind of liked and modified it to a more modern image.  I like this one too.
This last one for  the Cheerleader grand daughter.  I love it!!

Easy Gifts for Girls - Charger Plates!!

Today, I would like to share with you an easy gift to warm any little girl's heart. Girl's love to see their names on anything, especially if it's unique and hard to find. I made these two charger plates for the daughter's of my employees for Christmas gifts. They loved them!

These can be made for any event: Birthday, Anniversary, Easter, Valentine's Day and etc.... Just decide what you want to put on the charger, measure the inside circle of the plate, and work within that circle. You can use your Cameo, Cricut or whatever cutter you have. The charger plates can be found at Hobby Lobby, Michaels and a few at Walmart. You can sit them on their dresser, shelf or drill holes in the top of the plate, insert pretty ribbon and hang them on the wall.

You can see more of my charger plates and instructions on my blog under the Labels tab.

This one is for Kemani. She is on a dance team at her school.

This one is for Danai.  I guess you can tell she's a soccer player huh?

Thank you for stopping by!!!

Air Erasing

Here are pictures of the last few mugs I made over the holidays:

This one is for the minister in the family. I love it! (forgive the finger prints)

The back has a Bible verse on it,  Romans 12:12
I added a silhouette of a man praying.

This one is for my Brother-in-law.  The initial of his last name and his first name on the other side.

Glass Etching with an Air Eraser

Happy New Year to All!!!

I've been busy playing around with my new toy, an air eraser!!!  Yep. I had it since June and was too intimidated to use it. I joined a Facebook group and through their encouraging words, I gave it a try.
I love it!!! I churned out 25 glasses for my family over the holiday break. The men got the tall glasses and I made some smaller ones for the ladies.

(List of supplies needed for air erasing at the bottom of this post)

Here's some of my projects:

This is for my Father-in- law, front and side view. Some of you may remember my post about his little "tavern" he set up in his back yard for family and friends to hang out.The ceiling is made of old fishing rods and reels.  It's actually pretty cool.

Here's the back

My Air Eraser Supply list
Here’s what I have for Air Erasing. I hope this helps. What you need may vary on what compressor or Air Eraser you have.  This works for me.

Master Air Erasing kit from Amazon
It has the moisture trap built into the hose

Porter Pancake Compressor from Amazon

Air compressor starter kit from Harbor Freight
(for the couplers)

This is how mine is hooked up from the AE to the hose

From the hose to the compressor

Here’s the Grit I use from HF. I found it to better than the stuff that comes with the AE. It’s like $9.99.
