Birthday Cards

I decided to make up a few birthday cards and have them handy since I'm always forgetting.  These are just a few of the ones I have made so far. Hopefully this year, I will be better about sending them out in a timely manner. I really despise giving store bought cards unless I don't like you....then store bought card it is!!! Hahahahaha. Thank goodness the list of people I don't really care for is non-existent at this point!

Thank you for looking and Enjoy!

Crafty Road Trip !!! Hauls!!! Fun Times!!!

This past Saturday my friend Diane decided she wanted to go check out Altered Angels Scrapbook Store because sadly, it is closing. This store is in Alpharetta, Ga and is about 45-50 minutes (no traffic) away from us. I told her I was in for the ride, along with our other friend Mazie.

So off we headed at 10:00 a.m. Right now the store has everything at 35% off but starting 03/10/2014 it will be at 45% off.

I had some left over gift cards from my birthday in December so my walk out total was 65¢!!Yep, that 's 65 cents!!

I really hate that she's going out of business because her prices, as far as Local Scrapbook Stores, were very reasonable. There was also a great selection of merchandise.

Here we are myself, Diane and Mazie starting to fill up our baskets
Here's some of the things I got.

Darcie Heater Designs Tin Pins and matching Stamps
Some refill Tin Pins for some stamps I bought previously

I love this 4th of July Paper!! Brown Tulle and Action Wobbles!!

I have always wanted these Stamp pads. At $6.49 and 35% off I had to get one of each!

See she still has a pretty good inventory!

Next, we headed to the Stamp Consignment Sale in Cummings, Ga. Apparently they hold these sales twice a year.  This was our first time going and it was 50% off day! Yay! We saw my friend Paulette (aka Scrapalette) there and she showed us the ropes.

Flower background Stamp $2.00

SU Awash with Flowers $12.00 set 1 and 2

SU Large dauber holder case $5.00

Next we went to one of our favorite stores in Marietta, Ga,  Rubber Stamp Fantasy.

We go there so much the owners, Debbie and Gary, know us.  The store is pricey BUT you will find stamps and other crafty goodness that you can't get anywhere online. Gary and Debbie, are always taking out time to show you how to re-create some of their beautiful cards. Who does that? That's why we don't mind paying a little more because when we leave, we know exactly how to use our goodies!
I bought this stamp set all for about $23.50, yes I know, pricey, but I wanted to create the cards shown below

Gary showing Diane and Mazie how to use that spray thing-a-ma-jig!

The cards in this store will pull you in every time!! If you ever get a chance stop by a visit.
**Warning**
You will spend a lot of Moolah!!!
You can spend hours in here!!!

Then we finished off the day with a walk through Marietta Square because it was such a pretty day. Kids everywhere, teens taking Prom Pics, couples hanging out.  It was great!
