Happy Halloween with the Craftwell Ebrush

Hello peeps!!!  I got a new toy!!

I recently purchased the Craftwell Ebrush from HSN.  I had been wanting it forever, but the price was rather high and the reviews were horrible. I decided to take a chance and purchase it because,
1.It was on sale and,
2. I had a coupon!!!
Aren't  those the only reasons we crafters need?

The Craftwell Ebrush is a cute little airbrush system that you can use with various markers. The one I purchased came with a 3lb. air compressor and 6 marker adapters.

I watched a few videos by Debi Tullier prior to my Ebrush arriving. I tell ya, this lady is a whiz with this ebrush. I was up an running within an hour of receiving it.

So far, I have found the bad reviews not to be the case for me. I'm finding this tool to be very easy to use, I'm having so much fun with it and I can't wait to try more projects!

This is my Halloween card and the instructions on how I did it. Really fun!!!

 Inside
First I cut my card base 4.25x5.5 (that's the Ebrush in the background)
Using my Silhouette Cameo Design Studio, I cut out my images to mask the areas on the card base that I did not want covered with ink. I also cut out the lettering for the "Happy Halloween".
Next I used painters tape to hold down the base and to help with splatter control.
 Here are my images
I lifted them with lift-off tape for vinyl.
Here are the images on the card, you may not be able to see them because they are white. I used my Copic Marker to spray.
This is how it looks after I take the images off
Next I took a smaller piece of card stock 4 x5.25 and tore the edges of to give it jagged look. I used this as my guide for the outer edge of the card that I sprayed in black.

 See?
Don't have the right color embellishments? Not to worry!!!  Ebrush and Copics to the rescue!!!
I did the inside of the card with  Stampin Up Sweet Centers and a few stickers. I popped up the embellishments to give some dimension and that was it!  Quick and easy cards for friends.

Thanks for looking!!

Tropical Theme Gift Box Card Holder/Invite/Banner/Place Cards decorations

I made this card holder for my husband's birthday party. This little beauty took me about a week to complete as I had no plan for it.  I just started and went with whatever popped into my head. The party's theme was "A Tropical paradise in the Fall". All the decorations were Tropical/Luau/Hawaiian in nature, even the invite. The story behind this theme is that I have always wanted to have a Luau for one of our birthdays but my hubby's is in October and mine is in December, so it really isn't practical to do so. My mother-in-law and cousin both loved the idea of a Tropical party so it took off from there. The party was so much fun and I am thankful for all that attended.

I cut the leaves with my Cameo, hand embossed the veins and colored them with a Momento marker to bring them out a little. I hand cut the slot for the cards and used a decorative trim around the top part of the box.

I cut up a child's size raffia hula skirt. It would only fit across the front of the box so I had to make the rest of it by cutting and tying each an every strand!! Yes it was a pain!!

I love this little hut! I just took some cardboard, folded it and started cutting and adding stuff. I used modge podge on the outside.  That is real sand you see.  I used glossy accents to keep it in place.

These Adirondack chairs are so easy to make! I made several in different colors for table decorations. I used real rocks and modge podge to hold them in place.
I designed and colored this banner with the Silhouette software and mounted it on popsicle sticks. I used stickers for the "celebrate" and Martini Glass brads.
Tee hee, I used my Ebosser and Teresa Collins woodgrain folder to make this Tiki pole. The Tiki men are print and cut with my Cameo.
The monkey in the tree is a sticker. I colored the back side so it would look like the back of a monkey.

Here is the front and back of the invite I designed with my Cameo.
I also made "Reserved" Place Cards for the tables

I forgot to take pictures of the banner so please forgive the messy background on this one
Here it is hung up. It was huge! Sorry for the bad pic.

Football Slider Card

I want to wish my husband, Keith, a Happy 55th Birthday today!! This is the slider card I made for him. I used the the template from Ken's Kreations and modified it to suit my needs. The football does not spin, it slides, like he's throwing it. (see the video at the bottom)
