Baby Shower!!

I was asked to make some gifts for a baby shower.   I made 2 bodysuits and a personalized baby bucket. I also tried my hand making baby moccasins. They are by no means perfect, but I was told that the mother loved them and that's all that matters, right?

Sweet 16 T-shirts

I made these two shirts back in April (forgot to post) for these young ladies, both celebrating their Sweet Sixteen birthdays.. The one in the red is my "niece" (my friend's daughter) that I have known since she was a toddler.

Disney theme Birthday Card and T -shirts

I made this card and T-shirts for my little cousin Teigan who just turned tow. She's a big Minnie Mouse and Elsa fan.

 Close up of the card. I got this image from a Facebook group that I am in. It was designed for T-shirts but I wanted it as a card, so I pulled out my Cameo and made one. The stuff on the Monogram side is actually Wink of Stella for a glitter effect. It would not photograph well.

Graduation gifts and cards!

Finally all my babies have completed their graduation ceremonies so now I can post pics of their gifts! I'm so proud of these awesome kids!

These are the monogrammed t-shirts I made using the "knock-out" method with my Cameo. Be sure to check out the Subway Graduation Cards at the bottom!

I used glitter HTV for both shirts. It has been said not to layer glitter on glitter so the knock-out method  works best to give you that layer on layer look. Oh. and I did not follow the standard monogram rules because I did not like the way they looked. (Who says I have to follow the rules?)

Here's some close-up shots. You can see (or maybe not, if I did a good job, lol) that the names are sitting "inside" the black and red glitter, not on top.

I made these subway art cards from a file that I got in one of the Silhouette Facebook groups. I changed the names, colors and the year. I was trying to match each card to their school colors but it didn't quite work out that way. 

I had to mail two of the gifts (along with checks, lol) but the one that was delivered local was packed inside this gift bag that I got from Michaels. The designs is from the Silhouette Store. I added the 2015.

Family Picture Frame

I made this for my Mother-in-law for Mother's Day.

I took advantage of the Michael's one day sale where you could get 3 frames for the price of 1. I used the laminated burlap and the Flocked Heat Transfer Vinyl. She loved it!

Quick gifts: Personalized Journal and Bag

I may be late to the party but I know I'm not alone. If you don't have the Dritz Mini Iron, you need to get it ASAP! It's powerful and gets very hot. It's perfect for small projects and when you don't (in my case) feel like pulling out your iron or heat press for something so small.  I did this fabric Journal for my friend, Treva, in a snap.
I cut out the HTV (heat transfer vinyl) with my Cameo, pulled out the parchment paper and a few minutes later I had created this personalized Journal and bag for a gift. ( The bag is regular vinyl because it is plastic.)

 This is the Journal before. Just plain and boring.

Just adding a simple monogram  makes the Journal look so much better.  Make sure you used parchment paper or a teflon sheet over the HTV.

Thank you cards and Matching T-shirts

Whew!!! This was a huge project (for me anyway) for my daughter's travel group. They took 42 of their clients on a cruise and wanted something "special", as she put it, to give to them. 

It wasn't so much that it was 42 Thank You cards and 7 T-shirts, it was the fact that it was a time limit. A last minute time limit at that! lol

It got done and she helped out a lot on the cards. I think she finally realizes what goes into making things by hand. In the end, I think everything turned out okay, considering the rush.

Everything was designed and cut with my #Silhouette Cameo. 

This is the card for their clients. 

 Inside of card. It looks blue here but it is actually Teal.

 Here are the matching T-shirts. The Vinyl is Teal except for the palm tree which is glitter black. Each shirt was personalized with their names.

 You know I had to have some bling somewhere!! lol

 Here's my daughter with her boyfriend in the shirts. She said they were so busy they forgot to take a group photo of them wearing their T-shirts. I'm not happy about that, but oh well, this will do!

I'm so proud of my daughter and all the members of the #Talented Tenth Travel Group. They are passionate about their work and are doing a fantastic job. There were no complaints about their excursion, in fact many of the clients can't wait to travel with them again and they picked up a few new ones! This is their "side" job. They all have full time jobs! It's refreshing to see young people go after their dreams and work so hard to obtain it.  I wish them much success in the future!

Here's the T-shirt I made for my FIL to go with their new car.  Sorry it's wrinkled but I had folded it up and put it in the bag, then I remembered that I hadn't taken a picture.

I couldn't find a SVG for a Chrysler 300, so I had to make one. I sent this to my Mother-in-law instead of my Father-in-law because it was feminine looking and I wanted to give her something to commemorate the new car

I highlighted the lights, windows, door handles and grill with glossy accents and Wink of Stella.

Here's the hubby's shirt for his new toy!!  He loved it! (Thank God)
