Valentine's Day Lottery Ticket Bouquet

Another Pinterest inspired project. Really easy to make and It's perfect for my hubby. Just use skewers, a hot glue gun, clothespins and lottery tickets. I used my Silhouette Cameo to design the hearts and tag.

 I tried to emulate a card I saw on Pinterest for my hubby's Valentine's Day card. It didn't come out as nice as the one I saw but I'm okay with it. I gave him this card and a Lottery Ticket bouquet, which I'll post on my blog next.

Valentine's Day Card for my Hubby

I didn't make a card last year for my husband and I kinda got the side eye 😏. I put forth a little more effort this year. This cute little card is from the Silhouette Design Store. It's a Z-fold card. See below for it opened.  I hope he likes it.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I made this card using my Silhouette Cameo software and a Stampin Up stamp set. I can't color worth a flip so I uploaded the stamped image into my software and colored it there. I also wanted to add a few things and make it larger, so doing this way made it easier. Each little piece had to be colored individually. You can see how I did it below. I enjoyed the challenge but it won't be something that I do often.

This is how you color it in Silhouette Design Studio. You release the compound path, after tracing and color each piece. Very tedious but oh so cool!

Valentine's Day Card

Creative Card Angels got a request for a little girl that is battling Leukemia. Her church family wanted this year to be special for her and to let her know that she is loved and to keep on fighting! We got the request kind of late but that's okay. I told the requester to let her know that she will be having a Valentine's Day week!!

Oooops, I almost forgot to post my cards today. 

I made these 2 flower pot cards from a template I designed with my Cameo software. I saw a template on Pinterest but it was too small for my taste. I wanted bigger!!  With the image in my software I can make it larger or smaller as needed.

You pull the tab out to reveal the message inside.

Valentine's Day Card

I made this card using a Dollar Tree Window Cling Decorations for the Valentine Box, then I embossed the background strip with the Darice Hearts and Swirls folder. The phrase is from the Silhouette Store. I was going for a masculine look with this even though it has some pink in it. It's for my husband so hopefully it will be ok.

here's a close-up of the window cling. I trimmed around the edges and glued it to the card stock.

Here's the inside. The heart border was cut on the Brother Scan N Cut.

This is the set I will be giving to my hubby for Valentine's Day along with a special dinner.

He deserves it!

For this card I used the Cricut Victorian Romance Cartridge. I have owned this cartridge for years and have never used it. This year I decided to make myself use it. I love how it turned out.

Valentine Crayon and Sucker Cards

Okay,  I made a lot V-Day gifts....for girls. I forgot about two special little boys, KJ and Sean (my employee's sons whom I've known all their lives) so I came home tonight to make them some quick cards.

I want to thank my friend Kat Schriber for posting the file for the Valentine Crayon Card so I wouldn't have to spend to much time trying to design something. I did change them up a bit though. The original card file calls for 2 crayon holders. I changed mine to 3 crayons to give KJ (age 4) enough colors to color the TMNT.  I also made the image a lot larger to give him more room to color. I also decided to change up the one for Sean because he is 10 years old and probably doesn't want crayons. I substituted suckers on his card. I know he likes candy!

I also added a TMNT on the back of KJ's card so he can see what colors he needs to use. He probably won't because he's only four, but it's worth a try. LOL!!

Valentine's Day Lollipop Treat

It's time time of year again!! Love is in the air! 

I guess you can tell that I love Valentine's Day!

These lollipop card idea was 100% scraplifted from Pinterest!! No shame! 

I used my new Brother Scan N Cut for the scalloped edge cards, then I used my Stampin Up Heart Punch and Treat Cups. I got the popsicle sticks from Dollar Tree and colored them with my eBrush and Copic Markers.

I cut 3 scalloped cards on the Brother Scan and Cut. One at 2.75 in, and two at 3 inches. I punched the smaller scalloped card with the Heart punch, inserted the treat cup, filled it with M & Ms and then placed the background scallop on top of it. (I forgot to take pictures of this process, sorry). Then I took some Terrifically Tack Tape and put the popsicle stick in the center back.  I used my ATG to put tape on all four corners of the solid colored scalloped card (this will be the back) and adhered it to the background scallop.

 You can use the back to add "To" and "From" to turn these into gifts for the kiddies.

Valentine Lip Balm Pops!

Since I have about a bazillion lip balms I decided to try to do some more Valentine's Day goodies with them.

These were very easy to make. I used Dollar Tree clear wrap and ribbon. I did a print and cut for the labels. Easy Peasy!!

 Here's how I did them. I got these straws from Michael's clearance section for 59¢.

 Split the top and fold down

 Hot glue to the bottom of the lip balm

 That's it! Finish with wrap and ribbon
