Baby Shower!!

I was asked to make some gifts for a baby shower.   I made 2 bodysuits and a personalized baby bucket. I also tried my hand making baby moccasins. They are by no means perfect, but I was told that the mother loved them and that's all that matters, right?

Classy Lady Card

I love making cards with vinyl! I think you can get much more details from an image than with cardstock. I haven't titled this card yet but I imagine that it will probably end up being a Birthday Card for someone special.

Birthday Card for my Daughter

I almost forgot to post this! I made this card last month for my dear daughter. I always make her a card for her birthday.  Everything was designed and cut with my Silhouette Cameo. Check out the glitter lipstick! The image is from Google with enhancements.

Charger plate and Picture frame designs

These two designs were created by special request for my cousin, who has a quirky type sense of humor. I used my Silhouette Cameo on both projects. It was fun doing something different for a change. She provided me with the sayings and I had to come up with the images and designs. The lady on the phone is a Google image and the other images are from the Silhouette Store.

I added the faux stitching around the outside using a feature in the Silhouette software.

I got these flowers when Michael's had the 60% off sale on all their recollection Embellishments.

I did the charger plate with the gold speckle vinyl and metallic silver vinyl.

Quick gifts: Personalized Journal and Bag

I may be late to the party but I know I'm not alone. If you don't have the Dritz Mini Iron, you need to get it ASAP! It's powerful and gets very hot. It's perfect for small projects and when you don't (in my case) feel like pulling out your iron or heat press for something so small.  I did this fabric Journal for my friend, Treva, in a snap.
I cut out the HTV (heat transfer vinyl) with my Cameo, pulled out the parchment paper and a few minutes later I had created this personalized Journal and bag for a gift. ( The bag is regular vinyl because it is plastic.)

 This is the Journal before. Just plain and boring.

Just adding a simple monogram  makes the Journal look so much better.  Make sure you used parchment paper or a teflon sheet over the HTV.

Bathroom wall art

Hello everyone.
It's been a very busy time for me these last few weeks.  I was preparing for my daughter's 27th birthday so I didn't get too much craftiness for my self done. I did manage to revive our Master bathroom and the guest bathroom walls. It was a bit of a challenge for the guest bathroom as the hubby proclaims this to be his turf when we don't have company and he doesn't wanted it all "girlied up" like the master. If it were up to him, there would be nothing on our walls at all! I personally cannot stand to see a blank wall.  I think the walls need to have a little character, don't you?

Anyway, here's what I did: (I forgot to take before pics so I had to blot out the vinyl areas in the photo)

These are $2.00 towels I got on clearance.  This was my very first time using my embroidery machine!

This piece is actually cut  for the "man" bathroom, but hubby wasn't having it. lol   I wasn't going to throw it away, so I found a spot in the Master Bathroom.

 

Now, these are some projects I did a long time ago for my daughter's home and I thought I'd share them with you also.  I actually did these with my Cricut!

Since I made the sign for my Father in Law, the Mother in Law wanted me to make her one she saw in a magazine.  Here's my take on the picture.  This is all done in vinyl on particle board.  No sealing needed.  Sticks perfectly.  I used puff paint for the beer foam and clear rain drop stickers for the dew.

Bored, so I vinyled the entrance to my kitchen.  See my little man down at the bottom?

My DD's New Home

My DD bought her first home at age 23!!!  We're so proud of her!!! So much so, that I went all out to help her decorate.  Here are a few pics:
