Mother’s Day Cards

I forgot to post these. They were made with the Anna Griffin basket pop-up die. Now she has the whole kit with the elements for the basket but I only purchased the basket die (that’s all they had on HSN). I had to get creative and come up with my own elements. They are from stashes all over my craft room!😂

Mother’s Day Card

This is the Mother’s Day Card that I made for my family and friends. The Sunflower design is from A Piece Of Rainbow. They give you really great directions on how to put it together. The front design is from the Silhoutte Store. I kept the same Sunflower theme as I did for my Mother in laws' card.

Happy Mother's Day 2020

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. Many will be celebrating a little different this year because of Covid-19.  Although most of our celebrations will be virtual, be sure to show your mother the love she deserves.

I haven't made a card in a while, so this almost took me out! This is for my Mother in Law that loves her hats!  She told me that she loves this card and that's what matters most.  I'm pleased with how it turned out.

The cardstock is thick glitter paper with flock so the card itself is heavy. You can get the file from DreamingTree.com.

I hope you all have a very happy day and stop by again sometime!

Classy Lady Card

I love making cards with vinyl! I think you can get much more details from an image than with cardstock. I haven't titled this card yet but I imagine that it will probably end up being a Birthday Card for someone special.

Happy Mother's Day!!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. If your mother is still living, cherish her.  I miss mine everyday!!

I made this card for my dear Mother-in-Law. She's the best!

At the last minute, I needed a small box to hold one of her gifts so I went to the Silhouette Design Store and found this cute little box.  It was just perfect!
Box Side View
The flap on the back is really supposed to be under the front flap but I didn't need it so I added it to the back of the box. I thought it was kind of cute this way.

The cardstock is Garden Party by Craft Smith for both the card and box.

I hope you all have an awesome day!!

Mother's Day Cards 2016

These designs are all from the Silhouette design store. I used mostly Shimmer Cardstock on all except the floral one. I apologize for the dark pictures but I've been a bit under weather and took these really quick.
This is a sample of the inside of the cards. I matched the color on each card with the base colors. This one is Pink.

This card is Bronze Shimmer Cardstock.

I mixed it up a little and made one with a Floral Print.

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Mother's Day!  To those you of whose mother has passed on, like myself, try to remember the good times. You should still celebrate her and know that she is with you always. I miss my Momma everyday, but I know death is a fate we must all face on day. I'm not bitter, but thankful for the time the Lord allowed me have have her here with me.

I am also thankful to still have my wonderful Mother-in-Law. As far as in-laws go, I rate her a 10+! I love her and celebrate her!

Also, if you know a mother who has lost a child, don't be afraid to reach out to them. Call them up and let them know you are thinking about them. In leiu of sending a card, take her a plant, a simple rose or even a small gift.

Here's the card I made for my Mother-in- Law along with a matching card box:
 Card with card box.

For the card I used the Spellbinders Card Creator Elegant labels 4 and Spellbinder Fancy lattice. I used my eBrush and Copic Marker, R28 to create the matching flowers.  I used the @We R Memory Keepers new 1-2-3 punch board for the card box. I already had the WRMK envelope punch board but I wanted the new one because it makes larger boxes. I'm loving it. The band around the box was made with the Fiskars AdvantEdge punch system and the Antique Lace punch.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

I hope everyone has a beautiful Mother's Day and make sure you take advantage of this day to relax (and maybe craft!).

I'm bringing in Mother's Day with some cards I made for my family and friends.

I made a total of 14 cards in one weekend, whew!!!! I don't know what got into me, and that doesn't happen very often so I made good use of the energy!!

For this first set I used my Cricut E2, (yep, sure did) and the Forever Young and Mother's Day cartridges. I cut the card at 5.50 x 7.25 in CCR.

This second set was made using my Cameo and from a free file I got off the internet. Aren't they cute little Derby hats. I really hope my friends enjoy these.

Mother's Day Card for Mother-in-law

I made this card for my Mother-in-law for Mother's Day.  I can post it here because I know she won't see it. lol  I love my MIL and we have always gotten along.  She appreciates the efforts I put into my crafts and she keeps everything I make for her. When I hear the MIL horror stories I say to myself, "thank you God, that I have never had to deal with that".  In fact, it's quite opposite with my husband and I. My mother always took up for him and his mom always took up for me! I guess that's why we are still together after all these years.....the Mother Knows Best saying sure worked out well in our case. They know their children!!

It looks a little yellowish but it's actually black, white and pink.
