Journals and stuff!

Hello everyone,

I recently attended a virtual crop where one of the challenges was to use something that you had not used in 5 years or more or never used. The timing for this was perfect because my cousin had also asked me to make a journal as a gift.  I've never made one so I had to do some research and watch a few youtube videos.  I pulled out my Cinch Binding Machine and went to work. These are the journals I made for gifts and one for myself.

Once I got the hang of it, these were fun to make. I'm sure I will be making more soon!

Have an awesome day and thanks for stopping by!

Baby Shower Gifts

My young cousin had her baby shower recently. The decorations were beautiful! There were so many gifts that it took 2 - 3 trucks to haul it to her home.  It was a fabulous event.

Here are the gifts I made her:

New Mommy/New Daddy drinkware
Baby bucket I made using Tulle and glitter vinyl

Close up of the bucket wrapped and ready to go.

Glitter Wine Glasses

This was my first time attempting to glitter wine glasses, but when you Mother-in-law asks you, at the last minute, if you can make some glasses for her and her friends  for Christmas, you do what you gotta do!

I love how they turned out, but I didn't know they need to fully cure for at least 21 days before they become dishwasher safe. I delivered them anyway(2 days later)  with a disclaimer about how to handle them for them the next few weeks. They all said they weren't going to drink out of them anyway because they were "too pretty". They're going to keep them on display!  That made my day and avoided a possible catastrophe'! lol

Fraternity Mug and Coffee Cup

I was asked to make these for a young man that recently joined a fraternity. His mother just wanted a beer mug and cup, she had no idea what she wanted on them so I came up with these. She approved!

Sorority Wine Glass Souvenirs

My daughter needed souvenirs for her Sorority Sisters.  They were presenting them as gifts for their 10 year anniversary with the Sorority. This is what I came up with for her. There were 38 of them!!! Jesus!!! The things we do for our kids!!!

I got the image off of Google and modified it a bit. I added the 10 which meant I had to desect her arm, flip and create and longer hand to hold it. Each glass has the name of the recipient on the back.
