Robert Jackson challenge

 Hello peeps!

I participated in a card challenge with one of my Facebook groups using one of the Robert Jackson digital stamp images. You had to download the image, color it and use a matting.  I haven't attempted to color in a long time and I'm definitely not an expert but I enjoyed trying.

What I used: Copic Markers for the image (Robert Jackson)
Stampin Up inks for the background
                      Spellbinders Matting Basics (pink)
                      Gemini Wisteria Die Set (flowers)

Enjoy your day!

To the Moon…

Here's a card from my Hobby Lobby haul. This die is called "Moon and Back" by Spellbinders. It was challenging because there are a lot of little pieces and not really any prototypes to refer to but I like how it turned out. The moon and phrase are silver glitter cardstock and the other elements (minus the clouds) are silver mirror cardstock.

Friends are So Sweet

Here's another old stamp and die set that I never used.  I pulled it out today to make this fun card. It has a really generic name...The Sizzixs Framelits Die set with stamps.  Until I made this card, I considered getting rid of it. I'll hang on to it for a little while.

Anna Griffin Card Kits

I finally pulled out one of my Anna Griffin card kits. I believe this one is the "For My Friend" kit.

The kits contain everything you need to make a complete card. You can add extra embellishments to give the cards your own twist. If you're in a hurry, this is the way to go. Close up pics below.

Wedding Card

This card was made for my cousin. She recently tied the knot. I chose the colors based on the colors of the wedding, lavender and cream.  The lavender is a very pretty shimmer cardstock. Be sure to see the inside below. It has one of my favorite "recipes".

Key to My Heart Card

I was asked to make a card for a someone to give to their mate to surprise them with a key to their home. I blotted out the names for privacy reasons.  This is what I came up with.

Front: Sentiment is from the Silhouette Store. I put the holes in the card with the Rhinestone feature in the Cameo software program.  The card actual has the person's name on the front but again, I obscured it.

Here's the inside. I made little slits so the real key could fit where I have the paper one.
I used some leftover hearts I had from another project to cover up the keyhole showing through the inside of the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Lady In A Hat Card

I was bored and so I decided to play around with some of my toys.  This is the card I cam up with. I used  Silver foil cardstock for everything!!  Yall know I love all things shiny!
Front
I got the lady in the hat silhouette off of Google and traced it with my Cameo software. It was so easy!
Inside
Close up so you can see the detail. It's so hard to photograph foil. I tried de-stressing the embossing to give it an antiquated look.
I popped up the front layers of the card to give it a 3D appearance.
Other supplies used: Spellbinders Majestic Circles Die Set
                                  Momenta Hello Die Set
Stampin Up Favorite Things stamp set
                                  Spellbinders Sea Beauty Embossing folder
