Journals and stuff!

Hello everyone,

I recently attended a virtual crop where one of the challenges was to use something that you had not used in 5 years or more or never used. The timing for this was perfect because my cousin had also asked me to make a journal as a gift.  I've never made one so I had to do some research and watch a few youtube videos.  I pulled out my Cinch Binding Machine and went to work. These are the journals I made for gifts and one for myself.

Once I got the hang of it, these were fun to make. I'm sure I will be making more soon!

Have an awesome day and thanks for stopping by!

Just A Little Embroidery

My husband's fraternity had a very nice event this year called The Kappa Derby. He did not have time to get his Fedora hat embroidered, like the other members of the chapter did, so he turned to me! I did my on spin on it! He was a little worried at first because it did not look like the others (I didn't like them) but after he got tons of compliments, he was very happy! I think I may be busy next year!😉

Here we are at The Derby!
Yes, I'm a Zeta!!!

Remembrance Pillows

These are some of the most heart warming gifts that I have ever been asked to make. I was a bit nervous because 1. I had never made them before and 2. I knew that these shirts belonged to a loved one that had passed on  and I needed to be really careful with them.  I did my research, utilized Google and Youtube and dove in. I wasn't ready to try to embroider such a treasure  yet so I used HTV (Heat transfer vinyl).

Thanks for stopping by!
